Jay Volker – Varsity Defensive Coordinator and Inside Linebackers Coach
Jay Volker is entering his first season as Moeller’s defensive coordinator. Volker is a 2008 graduate of Elder High School where he was a captain of the football and track and field teams. Volker then attended and graduated from Thomas More College. He was a three-year captain and received his bachelor’s in biology.
After college, Volker worked as an outside linebackers’ coach for Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. He has spent the past 3 years at La Salle High School where his teams have won two state championships.
Volker is entering his first year of teaching at Kings High School. He lives in Maineville, Ohio with his wife, Erika.
